Ethical Statement

Publication Ethics

JOBAMS is responsible for maintaining the utmost ethical standards in the scholarly world. We believe upholding integrity and transparency is paramount to fostering trust among researchers, authors, readers, and the academic community.

The Editorial Board is responsible for upholding ethical standards, investigating misconduct allegations, and ensuring adherence to journal policies; therefore, it handles all submissions and review processes with integrity, fairness, and confidentiality.

JOBAMS adheres to the following principles:

Authorship and Originality:

Authors are expected to submit original work that has not been published elsewhere. All authors must have made significant contributions to the research and agree to its submission for publication. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must be provided, including appropriate citations and references.

Plagiarism:  Plagiarism, in any form, is considered unethical and unacceptable. Authors should ensure that their work is entirely their own, properly attributed, and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others. The journal utilizes plagiarism detection tools to screen submissions, and any detected instances of plagiarism will result in immediate rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

Integrity:  Falsification or data manipulation is a serious ethical violation and will not be tolerated. Authors must accurately report their research findings and provide sufficient detail and data to enable reproducibility.

Conflict of Interest:

Authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose potential conflicts of interest that may influence the research, review process, or editorial decisions. Conflicts of interest may include financial interests, personal relationships, or institutional affiliations that could unduly influence judgment or decision-making.

Peer Review Process:

The peer review process is essential for ensuring the quality and validity of published research. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are expected to provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations of manuscripts. Editors oversee the peer review to ensure fairness, impartiality, and confidentiality.

Publication Decisions:

Editorial decisions are based on the submitted work's originality, significance, validity, and ethical integrity. Decisions regarding acceptance, rejection, or revision are made without bias or discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, or institutional affiliation.

Retractions:

In serious misconduct or ethical violations, articles may be retracted from the journal with proper notification to readers.

This statement is subject to periodic review and updates to reflect evolving ethical standards and best practices in scholarly publishing.
